Stress is a normal part of life. According to different contexts Stress is defined in different ways. Simply It’s about the body’s reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. Adjustment or the response can be physical or emotional. These stresses can be external or internal that most of us have experienced from our environment. Recent researches show that this is a common state that most people face.

It is quite hard to get to know that we have been stressed or not since we have been used to live with stress. Stress is basically a reaction that comes out to prevent ourselves from negative situations. This reaction is known as fight or flight reaction. Once we start reacting to the situation, we can observe our heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure increasing and muscles getting more tightened. These can be the primary signs that shows we are stressed or not and that is how we assemble ourselves to react to the situation

Nowadays people have a regular level of stress due to many reasons. Sometimes it helps people in a good way. For those people stress helps to stay focused, be more productive and to be more aware about the surrounding.

But on the other hand for some people stress can be a  chronic disease. People who have been stressed for a long time will get more negatively impacted on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Researches says that when you are continuously under stress it can lead to many diseases and problems such as headaches, upset stomach, chest pain and problems in sex and sleep. So, we must learn how to manage stress and to overcome stress.

Avoiding nicotine, alcohol, caffeine and getting involved in more physical activities which makes us more active can help to get rid of stress. Start doing relaxation techniques and having good sleep is very important to stay stress free.
